The underground pipe network(UPN)is an important part of urban infrastructure,two-dimensional visualization management mode of traditional UPN can not express the space objects directly,but also cannot fully describe the spatial relationship between pipelines and pipe points.Smart city construction makes the 3D GIS technology has been rapid development,by using 3D GIS technology not only can fully express the complex spatial topological relationship between UPN,but also can help the relevant departments to make corresponding decisions more effectively with advantages of its three-dimensional spatial analysis.This research is based on the three dimensional underground pipe network information system project of Anning City,Kunming Institute of Surveying and mapping and the Kunming Municipal Science and Technology Bureau's project "large-scale 3D pipeline GIS development and research".It mainly includes the analysis and summary of the 3D modeling method of pipeline point,the establishment of spatial database and the development of the plug-in platform.Based on the in-depth study of three dimensional UPN information system based on different platforms,the research work includes the following aspects:1.Conscientiously summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of three dimensional modeling of pipeline points under different software platforms and a three-dimensional pipeline point symbol library.is made based on the SuperMap 8C platform,2.Referring to the corresponding pipeline detection technology regulations the UPN database was established based on SuperMap SDX+ spatial data engine,which realized pipe 2D and 3D data integration storage.3.The software engineering idea is combined with the reflection technology development under the.NET platform to build a plug-in development platform,which improves the extensibility of the software.4.According to the requirements of the actual project users,the functional modules are implemented in redevelopment of GIS components provided by the SuperMap IObject8C;Generally speaking,the three-dimensional UPN information system based on this paper meets the actual project needs.
