Job burnout,as a negative work phenomenon, generally occurs in individuals who are under pressure to work and have frequent interpersonal communication, especially in the service industry, which has developed into a global social problem. The work content of the library is similar to the service industry. Its typical work characteristics, such as long working hours, heavy load, and monotonous mechanical procedures, are the key factors for the library to become a place where job burnout is high.As one of the important bases for colleges to cultivate talents and carry out scientific research, university libraries are responsible for the dual tasks of teaching and scientific research services.Librarians work as a link between the literature resources, consulting services and teacher-student learning in the library. The impact of the quality of service on teachers and students is equally important. In the academic world, most of the research on the job burnout of college librarians focuses on the content and characteristics of work.It is rare to study its job burnout quantitatively from the perspective of self-cognition.The research on the transition of job burnout from theory to practice is relatively lacking. This study will start from solving the problem of job burnout of college librarians, combine self-cognition variables such as professional identity and self-efficacy,and establish and analyze structural equation models to analyze and explore the problem of librarian work burnout. This article uses literature review, questionnaire surveys and statistical analysis as basic methods to determine the four dimensions of professional identity: role values, professional values, professional belonging, professional behavior tendency, emotional exhaustion of job burnout, disintegration of personality, low personal achievement and self Sense of efficacy is a research variable.By defining its connotation, dividing its dimensions, and preparing measurement scales,it investigates college librarians.Through the reliability and validity analysis, scale revision, structural equation modeling and Bootstrap method test hypothesis of the 465 valid questionnaires recovered, the conclusions are drawn:(1)Role values ??and role attribution in the relationship between professional identity and job burnout Sense has a significant negative impact on the three-dimensionality of job burnout, and occupational values ??have a significant negative impact on the disintegration of personality and professional behavioral tendency on low personal accomplishment;(2)There is a significant positive correlation between the four dimensions of professional identity and self-efficacy;(3)There is a significant negative correlation between self-efficacy and the three-dimensionality of job burnout;(4)Self-efficacy plays a partial mediating role in each of the above-mentioned corresponding effects.Based on the statistical test results and the special occupational characteristics andenvironment of college librarians, this study puts forward several suggestions from three aspects: perfect relevant policies, first, formulate the qualification access system;second, improve the continuing education and Policy support for the knowledge update system. In terms of enhancing professional identity and self-efficacy,first,implement training and improve the professional qualities of librarians;second, implement multiple incentives to improve the professional motivation of librarians;third, adopt a two-way evaluation to clarify the self-cognition of librarians;fourth,Conduct psychological counseling to ease the professional pressure of librarians;Fifth, reshape social cognition and enhance librarians' professional identity. In terms of self-adjustment,first,treat your career correctly;second, strengthen self-management.
