Research On The Professional Identity Of Reporter In China

Under the background of industrialization and collectivization, the contradictionbetween the news media economic attributes and cultural attribute have intensified.Roles of news reporter have conflict, and professional identity has become highlightedproblem. This paper takes the Chinese journalists professional identity as the mainresearch object, this paper discusses the Chinese journalists in two different identityunder existing problems, one kind is as a news reporter, the identity of the workersother is as ordinary citizens to the identity of the reporters. In view of the parties to thecomprehensive integration based on opinion, dialectical view of the essence of thedispute, that is, are these disputes appear is mainly because of the identity of ajournalist unknown, just make career orientation, professional reporter rights andduties, professional standards, professional salary treatment is not reasonable.This study used the social interaction theory, sociology to play theory, identitytheory, identity construction theory and combining with the Chinese journalists fromecological, reviews the journalists professional identity, the evolution course ofChinese journalists identity is defined, the current Chinese journalists that professionalidentity does not belong to civil service personnel, just ordinary citizens to theassignment of the supervision of public opinion. Then, summarizes different historicalstages of Chinese journalists to the construction of the professional identity, thecharacteristics of news reporters from professional identity of self consciousness andbehavior patterns, social identity and the construction of system, this paper putsforward the Chinese journalists of the construction of the system.The paper describes present Chinese journalists professional identity managementpresent situation, including reporter’s acquisition, the rights and obligations under thereporter, behavior principle, pay treatment, etc. Through the media human resourcesmanagement related theory, to reporters from access of respectively, reporter salarymanagement, reporters and professional career planning law guarantee, the proposeoptimization domestic news reporter professional identity management advice.
