In social work,there is a great difference in the professional identity of each industry.Sports journalists are more professional than other journalists.They often stay up late,work overtime and work content thinking.In addition,in recent years,more and more sports journalists are changing careers.So I choose to study the status of sports journalists' professional identity.From work to occupation is the process of professionalization,and professional identity is based on the professionalization.Therefore,this paper first combed the career development process of sports journalists.The career development of the new Chinese sports journalists has experienced four stages: starting,forming,developing and leaping.From the beginning,the major media temporarily dispatched personnel to report large sports events,and the position and value of sports journalists were continuously promoted by the establishment of sports department in the major media.Nowadays sports journalists have become an indispensable element in sports events reporting.During this period,the professional experience of sports journalists has evolved in many aspects,including roles,reports of attention and professional skills.The first is that most sports journalists choose to enter the industry as an initiative.Among them,interest driving is the most important factor,and has experienced the transformation from "sports fans" to "sports journalists".The second is that the professional identity of most sports journalists can be recognized by the peers and has the right to independent interview.The overall situation of sports journalists' self professional skills cognition is good.77.44% of sports journalists believe they can be competent for the current work.79.70% of sports journalists think they know more about the sports reported.The third is that sports journalists' career satisfaction is not high,only 9 of the 9 indicators are 2 points,and the average score is 3 points or more,7 of them are below 3 points,most of them fail to reach the "general" level.The average of the comprehensive 9 measurement indexes is 2.94,and the same level is not reached.The fourth is that most of the sports journalists are vague about their work after five years and lack a certain plan.Only 37.22% of sports journalists believe they will continue to engage in sports news coverage in five years.30.45% of sports journalists believe they will still work in the current media after five years,but their professional loyalty is not high.In the face of identity dilemma satisfaction and loyalty is not high,faced with a robot writing "," citizen journalists "of the impact of the new era of sports journalists need to forget the beginning of the heart,the difficulties,requirements of sports journalists not only to play professional advantages,but also increase the comprehensive ability by news gatherers alone to the news and information service provider.
