In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the education and service for minors.As an important front for spreading knowledge and developing advanced culture,public libraries play a very important role in the healthy growth of minors.Library reading service minors is because of its unique features,to more and more brought to the attention of the society and scholars,but the library reading service really played a positive role in the growth of minors,whether to meet the reading needs of minors,to satisfy the juvenile readers' expectation,no perfect evaluation criterion.This study aims to develop the evaluation criteria for reading services from the perspective of minors and to guide the practice of reading services for minors in public libraries.First of all,the author draw lessons from the existing library service evaluation system,combined with relevant theoretical principles and age characteristics of juvenile group selecting evaluation index,through to listen to expert advice,to improve the indicators,finally formed the reading service evaluation standards applicable to minority groups,including the four primary indexes and 13 secondary indicators.Secondly,the author invited experts to score the importance of the indicators,and calculated the weight of each indicator and each secondary indicator by using the analytic hierarchy process.Finally,the author takes LiaoNing provincial library as the main body of the study and makes an empirical study on the evaluation standard of reading service for minors.By issuing questionnaires,the author visited the Liao Ning provincial library,issued questionnaires to underage readers and parents,and collected them in time.Next,likert scale was used to calculate the score of each index,and the score of each index was evaluated and analyzed.Finally,according to the score,the author puts forward six Suggestions to improve the juvenile reading service of LiaoNing provincial library.On the basis of relevant theories and practices,this study has formed a relatively complete evaluation system for the reading service of minors in libraries,which can guide the practice of reading service for minors in public libraries.In the process of empirical research,the author draws the conclusion that the service level of LiaoNing provincial library is good,and the future service should focus on the improvement ofreading resource environment and reading service content.We will provide diversified reading resources,carry out diversified promotion activities,provide scientific reading guidance,and put graded reading into place.On this basis,we will pay attention to the continuous feedback of reading effect and continuously improve the level of reading services.
