Iris recognition is an identification technique based on human biometric characteristics.Compared with traditional identification technology(key,IC card,password,etc.),iris recognition has higher security,stability and anti-counterfeiting and has broad prospects in the field of identity recognition.The current iris recognition system is divided into iris recognition system based on PC platform and embedded iris recognition system,among them,embedded iris recognition system has become the mainstream of iris recognition system because of its advantages of low cost,low power,portability and so on.Be directed against of the shortcomings of the iris recognition system based on PC platform,such as high cost,large volume,and difficult to move,this paper designs and develops an embedded iris recognition system and provides a theoretical and technical reference for the development of a low-cost,portable embedded iris recognition system.The embedded iris recognition system is applied to the actual attendance management of the enterprise,and develops a management system of entrance guard attendance based on iris recognition is developed.The main work of this article is as follows:1.The hardware construction of embedded iris recognition system is completed.According to the characteristics of the large amount of image processing and the high performance requirement of the core processor in the embedded iris recognition system,this paper choose the new generation of high-performance processor DM8168 as the core processor.By selecting the appropriate peripheral chips in combination with the device features of DM8168 and system function requirements,this paper completed the design of image acquisition module,image processing module,power supply module,storage module,display module and communication module.2.The software construction of embedded iris recognition system is completed.The software design part of the system includes the development of ARM side program and the development of DSP side program,where the ARM side is responsible for image acquisition,showing the results,data storage and network communication.The DSP side program is responsible for iris recognition.3.The embedded iris recognition system is applied to the actual entrance guard attendance management,and develop a set of access control attendance management system based on iris recognition.The system is designed three functional modules of user information management,attendance management and system management,also completed the database design and system security design.The performance and function of the system are tested.The experimental results verify that the access control system in this paper has high real-time and accuracy,and can meet the needs of enterprises.
