Study On Emotional Communication Of China Daily's Reports On Chinese Traditional Festivals

Chinese traditional festival is a treasure of Chinese culture.It highlights Chinese national characteristics,and is a platform for people to understand and comprehend Chinese traditional culture.Then,emotional communication provides a strong support for traditional festival reports to achieve good communication effect.By studying China Daily's reports on Chinese traditional festivals in the past decade,the paper aims to solve the following three problems: how does China Daily achieve emotional communication in its reports on Chinese traditional festivals? What role does emotional communication play in Chinese traditional festival reports? What are the problems in the emotional communication of traditional festival reports?The paper uses the literature research,text analysis and case study to explore the role of emotional communication in traditional festival reports.When reporting the Chinese traditional festivals,China Daily makes full use of the emotional elements in traditional festivals,realizes emotional communication through emotional construction of the festival connotation,rituals and contemporary development,awakens people's emotional psychology of participating in traditional festivals and accepting traditional culture,and promotes the inheritance and development of the traditional festivals.Finally,it strengthens four main emotions including family reunion,native land emotion,yearning for love and respecting the elderly,which are in line with the current social values,so as to maintain the healthy and stable development of the society,and builds up a national humanistic image of “Chinese traditional culture has a long history,nation inherit traditional culture seriously,and people live and work in peace and contentment”.But since emotional communication emerges in recent years,there are some problems in practice such as one-sided grasp of festival emotional types and monotonous expression.Facing these shortages,China Daily should comprehensively grasp the emotional types of Chinese traditional festivals,and enrich the forms of emotional expression,then better applies emotional communication to cultural communication,and makes the spread of Chinese culture better.
