The Forbidden City culture records and inherits the excellent traditional culture of our country,which is an important part of traditional culture.Inheriting and innovating the culture of the Forbidden City is very important for carrying forward the traditional culture of our country.As a phases cultural achievement to commemorate the 600 th anniversary of the Forbidden City and the 95 th anniversary of the Palace Museum,the Palace Museum planned a program that an update alert from the Palace Museum,which focuses on the cultural content of the Forbidden City,creates unique cultural products of the Forbidden City,and shows the unique charm of the culture of the Forbidden City to the audience in an all-round and different angle way.From the perspective of semiotics theory,this paper analyzes the use of symbols in the program of an update alert from the Palace Museum by combining literature analysis,case analysis and text analysis.According to the relationship between symbols and reference objects,the use of symbols is classified to understand how these cultural symbols of the Forbidden City are used to refer to the representative objects.Through the signifying activities of symbols,we can master the establishment process of cultural meaning interpretation items of the Forbidden City.How these interpretation items promote the formation of national cultural identity and pride consciousness through layers of progressive.It is found that the program combines new media technology,uses rich and colorful linguistic and non-verbal symbols to display the cultural content carried in the symbols of the Forbidden City,realizes cross-border cooperation between cultural symbols and design fields,creates a social trend of cultural creation of the Forbidden City,and further promotes the inheritance and innovation of the culture of the Forbidden City by using cultural product symbols to vividly receive People show the cultural implication of the Forbidden City behind these symbols.However,the cultural interpretation of symbols in the program needs to be objective and scientific,and the design of cultural and creative products needs to have a deeper cultural connotation,so that the audience can learn about the Palace Museum Culture in use,and further promote the inheritance of traditional culture in China.I hope that through this article,I can provide feasible opinions or suggestions for the upcoming third season of the program,and help the cultural fever of the Forbidden City generated by this program to continue to expand,and further provide feasible suggestions for the development of museums and the production of cultural programs in China,so as to promote the vigorous development of cultural undertakings in China.
