In recent years,the state has paid more attention to the development of cultural and creative industries,the integration of Art design and traditional culture has become a historical trend,and it is also one of the main directions for the future development of cultural and creative industries.The combination of culture and design can only enhance the added value of products,but can also arouse consumers' sense of identity,and thus forming the brand personality.Museum,as an important means to disseminate culture,provides objective conditions for the design and development of cultural and creative products.How to better inherit the profound cultural symbol resources of museum through products is the main content of this paper.This paper takes the cultural creative products design of Hubei Museum as the object of research,and uses the basic principles and methods of semiotics.Furthermore,this paper discusses the method of applying cultural symbols by sorting out the existing cultural and creative products of some excellent museums and summarizes the basic mode of acquiring cultural and creative products based on traditional cultural symbols so as to guide the design practice of cultural creative products of museums in Hubei.This paper redefines the cultural and creative products of museums according to the relevant theories like Museology,cultural and creative industries and so on.By collecting and sorting out the main cultural resources of Hubei Museum,this paper analyses the designs status of cultural creative products of Hubei Museum and the findings of the cultural creative product's consumer market.Using SWOT analysis method,this paper deeply analyzes the cultural and creative products of Hubei museums,and found disadvantages of its design.This paper also classifies and summarizes what these cultural symbols represent according to the application of symbols in cultural and creative products in museum.This paper put forward the design strategy of cultural and creative products of the Hubei museums.Finally,this paper pinpoints and analyzes the target consumers using quantitative and qualitative methods and interprets the most distinctive cultural symbols of the Hubei Museum using the above design process and fully excavates the shape,function and connotation attributes of cultural symbols and transforms them into design symbols.This paper takes the four treasures of the study as the design carrier and combines the most distinctive cultural symbols of the Museum of Hubei Province to design,which aims to reveal the big from this small example and further explore the feasibility of the ideas proposed in this paper.Through theoretical research and practice on symbol acquisition of Hubei Museum's cultural and creative products,this paper verifies the validity of the method and the mode,hoping to provide some reference and suggestions for the development of cultural and creative products of museums.
