With economic globalization,industrial automation,the logistics industry is becomi ng more and more intelligent,automated stereoscopic warehouse is hub and the core of modern logistics industry,because the vertical space is utilized fully automated ster eoscopic warehouse,automatic access goods,reduce the advantages of resources,make automated stereoscopic warehouse in each big popular,such as medicine production,automobile manufacturing,machinery manufacturing,tobacco manufacturing,etc have a utomated stereoscopic warehouse,with automated stereoscopic warehouse should be wi dely in each big field,more and more is also high degree of automation,system is b ecoming more and more complicated,Direct the construction of an automated stereosc opic warehouse engineering large investment,long construction period and cost is high,have to be constantly changing according to the needs of customers,increased the di fficulty of automated stereoscopic warehouse,therefore,automated stereoscopic wareho use simulation technology can be improved these problems,can be before the project put into production,all the data to make use of virtual 3 d model simulation debuggi ng,to meet customer's satisfaction degree and plan the best effect.In this way,the op eration of automated three-dimensional warehouse can reduce the occurrence of errors and reduce the cost of the company.This paper studied the main problems involved i n the development of the virtual simulation platform of automated three-dimensional w arehouse,and mainly completed the following aspects:(1)studied the advantages of automated three-dimensional warehouse,the workflo w and the significance of automated three-dimensional warehouse simulation;This pap er describes the research status of simulation software for automated three-dimensional warehouse at home and abroad.(2)taking VS2019 as the development environment and combining with unreal en gine 4 to develop the simulation platform of automated 3d warehouse,the overall fra mework of the simulation system of automated 3d warehouse is designed.(3)3d model was built with 3dmax and imported into unreal engine 4.Diffuse map,normal map and specular map in unreal engine 4 were used to make the virtual scene more layered and more real.Add actions to each part of the automated 3d warehouse through the blueprint editor in unreal engine 4.(4)developed Shared memory,wrote the code for accessing,reading and writing Shared memory in unreal engine 4,realized the virtual simulation of the access operat ion of PLC control stacker,and used UI interface to monitor PLC program variables i n real time in unreal engine 4.
