As a form of expression of the ball screen film,the ball screen animation has been born for several decades.The animation of ball screen is very suitable for making use of computer 3D animation.Because of the limitation of manufacturing technology,the production has been greatly restricted,and the subject matter is also very limited.So it has blocked the creativity of the screen film,so that the development of the movie can't stop.With the era of progress and development of society,new technology emerge in an endless stream,using the unreal engine animation film technology began to appear,and the rapid development of this approach may be a way to break the bottleneck of the ball screen film,bring light to the future development of the ball screen film.This article introduces the basic idea of making the ball screen animation using the game engine and realizes it based on the UE4.UE4 as the leader of the unreal engine,its image performance is outstanding in the same kind of product,and has a strong supporting film production function.Through the actual test,it is proved that it is feasible to make the ball screen animation using UE4.This thesis focuses on four directions to focus on the use of unreal engines to make ball screen animation:First,from the preview of image effect,the unreal engine can bring the advantage of production.Second,the unreal engine can more flexibly use the virtual camera,which not only brings convenience to the production of the screen animation,but also brings a great change to the way of animation.Third,the immersion characteristics of the screen animation decide that the lens animation of the screen animation is complicated,and the unreal engine is convenient for making complicated lens connection.It can make the lens join into a part of animation,and bring different artistic experience to the whole animation.Fourth,The unreal engine do not need to enter the hall to watch the ball screen film,the late review convenient animation.Finally,it summarizes the shortcomings of using unreal engine to make ball screen film,and makes a judgment on the development of ball screen in the future.
