As the most extensive form of network variety show,paid network variety show has become more and more active since “The Lost Tomb” opened the door of paid network show in 2015.Since the second half of 2016,online variety shows have started their own paid journey.In September 2016,i QIYI launched the first online paid variety program-"the troubled to the pit",which became the most popular online paid variety program in just one month.In the past three years,all kinds of network media have been increasing their investment and publicity in dealing with fee based network variety shows.The high-quality content types and massive star lineup make the development of fee based network variety shows rapid and promising.But at the same time,there are many potential problems and risks in the broadcast process of paid network variety show,such as: single communication mode,content repetition caused by blind production,old plot setting,weak audience,large number of fans loss,etc.Therefore,taking the production and communication of all kinds of paid network variety shows in recent years as the research object,this paper focuses on the "communication dilemma of paid network variety shows".This paper analyzes the whole process of communication,aiming to explore the production of paid network variety show.The article is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction.This paper mainly describes the background,purpose and significance,innovation,research methods and research status.The second part is the production and development of paid network variety show.This paper analyzes the background of the paid network variety program,defines the paid network variety program,sorts out its development status and categories,compares the paid network variety program with the paid TV variety program,and clarifies the advantages of the paid network variety program.The third part is the dilemma of paid network variety show.Taking the specific paid network variety show as an example,this paper expounds its dilemma in reality from two aspects of time and performance.The fourth part is the analysis of the reasons for the predicament of paid network variety show.To explore the causes of the dilemma,weshould focus on five aspects: agenda setting mode,program communication content,platform channel,audience and existing payment mode.The fifth part is the development countermeasures and suggestions of paid network variety show.In view of the situation of the consumer market in the network era,this paper puts forward feasible opinions on the content innovation,"IP" transformation,payment mode,audience training,policies and regulations of paid network variety show,and seeks for the diversified development of paid network variety show.In the last part,we speculate the future development trend of paid network variety show.Based on my theoretical knowledge,this paper points out the direction for the specialization,fine differentiation and precise development of paid network variety show from three aspects: integration platform,innovative program production and upgrade payment mode.Generally speaking,the paid network variety show is not only an important representation of the contemporary new economic and cultural form,but also a new form of program output and income under the network environment.It has important practical value and significance in the development of Chinese variety show.Whether from the perspective of cultural communication or the perspective of consumer market,it is of trial value for the long-term development of paid network variety show to find the right way out.
