Popular science education is an essential part of children's growth stage,a kind of education activities through popularizing basic scientific knowledge,can help children to understand the human science and technology development level,understand the human and the human society,understand the nature and the universe,also help develop children's associative thinking,enhance children's environmental protection consciousness,exploring consciousness,innovative consciousness and ability of autonomic learning and practical ability.However,children in the lower years of primary school do not have heavy main courses and can arrange more time independently,which is the stage where science popularization education can make full use of.Plants can be found everywhere in our daily life,which is very convenient for children to observe and perceive.It is easy to arouse children's interest in science popularization by starting from the things they are particularly familiar with and suitable for observation and perception.Therefore,the popular science of plant science is most suitable for the beginning of popular science in the early years of primary school.However,the natural science curriculum in the early years of primary school is limited,so to get a more comprehensive science education,children need to make full use of the independent reading time.Since the pictures of picture books are very narrative,the general content can be understood without reading the words,which is undoubtedly an ideal reading for children with limited literacy ability in the early years of primary school.Therefore,when choosing popular science books for children in the early years of primary school,picture books are usually the first choice.On the basis of inheriting the advantages of paper-based picture books,electronic picture books are superior in reading experience due to the addition of dynamic images,sound and real-time interaction.Science and technology are the primary productive forces,scientific knowledge is an important part of human knowledge system.Electronic board book itself is the product of combining technology and art,in the process of children's growth,through electronic science draw this led them to touch the vast ocean of scientific knowledge,let them feel the charm of science and technology,to have a heart of advocating science,for the children in the elementary school low section,for the country,for all human beings are worthwhile.Therefore,on the basis of analyzing the cognitive characteristics of children in the low years of primary school,this research will deeply explore the principles and methods of plant science education for them,and at the same time,choose the cactus which is very common and highly recognizable in daily life as the theme to design an electronic picture book suitable for the low years of primary school children's science education.This paper is divided into five chapters to elaborate.The first chapter is the introduction,which expounds the background and significance of the research topic,analyzes the research status at home and abroad,and expounds the innovative points of the research as well as the research contents and methods.The second chapter describes the concept of electronic picture books,the development and current situation of electronic picture books and the design principles of children's electronic picture books.The third chapter expounds the advantages of children's popular science education,the advantages of electronic picture books in children's popular science education in the lower years of primary school and the advantages of plant popular science.The fourth chapter is about the thin king of plant science education for children in the lower years of primary school.The fifth chapter analyzes the above theories and applies them to the design practice of electronic picture books of plant science for children in the early years of primary school,and summarizes them.
