As a cutting-edge technology,3D printing has been valued all over the world.It is of great significance to popularize this new mind of additive manufacturing to the public.In developed countries,the popularization of 3D printing is rich in forms and values children's creativity.Similar popular science exhibitions have been held in China,but these activities have failed to attract children's interest due to the lack of attention to user experience.Therefore,it is worthy to study a science popularization experience system that can help school-age children to learn 3D printing better.Firstly,the equipment applicability of the 3D printing science popularization experience system should be studied.Based on the characteristics of target users and the needs of science popularization activities,the suitable equipment for the system is determined.The equipment includes FDM 3D printers,photographic 3D scanners and the display tool using light field holographic technology.Secondly,the 3D printing science popularization experience system for children 6-12 years old should be studied.The research contents include the target user characteristics,user experience modules,popular science products and product interaction interfaces.The specific content mainly includes the following parts: through the research on children's intelligence and attention,it is concluded that the content of popular science activities should be interesting,and the time of each project should be controlled within 10 minutes.It is a key task to analyze the pain points and opportunities of each experience module by making user experience map.In addition,it is necessary to study ways to optimize the user experience.The article puts forward the design principles of popular science products and studies the CMF and human-computer interaction mode of popular science products in this system.At last,the interface of the product is studied,including the principles of interface design,the division of interface proportions,and the number of interface levels.Finally,the 3D printing science popularization experience system for children aged 6-12 is designed.The system is suitable for carrying out 3D printing science popularization activities in social public spaces such as science and technology museums.Children can actually operate products of the system such as 3D scanners,3D printers,and the holographic cameras for children,and participate in the interactive user experience modules of the system.The popular science experience system attaches great importance to user experience.Through the interesting popular science forms,easy-to-learn products,and nice human-machine-system interaction,it helps school-age children to better understand 3D printing technology and stimulate their interest in 3D printing.
