Improvement Of Software Development Process For X Company

Today China has come rapidly into the era of mobile Internet.Mobile App from all walks of life have been developing like mushroom after rain.People are getting more and more dependent on mobile Internet,especially those in the first-tier cities.From basic necessities of life to the business finance,mobile Internet has penetrated into nook and cranny in our life and work,changing the original life habit.A good App can improve our work efficiency and enhance the quality of life while an App with unreasonable design and rough quality will bring bad experience to users.What is worse,some financial App(e.g.financial management software)even result in huge economic losses for the users.At the same time,for the designer and developer,their bad products will give a negative impact to the company,eventually leading to the loss of a lot of users.So,how to improve the quality of the products has become the largest imminent challenge for mobile Internet companies.Product quality is decided by the entire software research and development process.In this paper,the object of study is X company.Although X company's product has been a very successful and popular App(in April 2015,more than 270 million active users),in the process of the company product research and development,there are also some disadvantages: non-standard requirements management,configuration management confusion,lack of effective training process,etc.These non-standard processes have been trouble hidden in the product development,and has been also seriously restricting the development of the company.In order to solve the problems that exist in the research & development process and improve the quality of the products,this paper makes an analysis of the problems existing in the research and development process of X company,to find the root cause of the problems,and aiming at problems in product research and development(including software configuration management,requirements management,quality assurance,training and management),introduces CMMI model for improvement,to form a set of targeted improvements scheme.Through a review of the scheme,I am sure the scheme has good maneuverability,and can improve the product development process,to improve the quality of the product.
