CMMI-Based Agile Software Improvement Process Research

With the progressive development of computer software, software quality problems have become the focus of attention. Effective software process can make the organic combination of staff, tools and methods, increase productivity, improve software quality and reduce costs and risks .At present, the majority of domestic software enterprises are small-sized enterprises. Although CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration) can improve software process effectively, small-sized enterprises can not implement CMMI completely with the great lack in terms of human, technical and financial resources. There is no master key, to make up this disadvantage, Development team should find the best suited software development process according to the actual situation.With the problem above, In this paper, we pose agile CMMI-based software improvement process method. This method integrates the traditional method with agile method. based on traditional CMMI method, it builds a software improvement process which is suitable for small-sized enterprise by introduction of agile theory. The process of traditional methods integrated into agile methods, agile methods and the promotion of traditional methods complement each other ,and must be enterprises, as well as the specific characteristics of the project choice. The paper create a suitable software for small and medium-sized enterprises to improve the software process based on traditional software methods and CMMI model, cutting through appropriate and take a progressive step by step manner by means of the introduction of agile thinking. With building technical capacity of individuals and teams as a starting point and the practice of Agile CMMI process combination for the implementation of the target domain as a mean, making process improvement in software organization , improving there competitiveness, they will have a bright future.
