| At first, this paper analyzes the development of product research field about quality management and introduces the difference between full quality management and traditional quality management, then introduces the background and development of CMMI, at the same time does analysis about the implementing situation of CMMI in the area. Then, it introduces the basic structure of CMMI, mainly including the introduction of CMMI L2\L3 contents of all PAS.Next we introduce something about the company that the author used to stay in before they put CMMI into practice—the basic situation of UPS software\hardware research, the problems that exist during the process and the history background and human resource of the company, the define the motivation and object of importing CMMI and make the disparity exists between the present research process and CMMI distinct. Then we combine the CMMI, aiming at the problems in the research process, establish a suit of process standard on the UPS software\hardware research. It mainly includes project management process, requirement process, configuration management process, review process, testing process. The new process standard begins with the UPS product requirement collection, then to project plan, product design, inset software code, hardware circuit diagram design, product integration, system testing and all the engineering movement of all phases. It establishes a criterion on all details of project development and management movements and settles all kinds of problems that the company used to have before CMMI, at last it satisfies all the requirements of CMMI L3 PAS.At the last of the passage, it summarizes the implementing steps in the process of UPS software\hardware research of the new process standard, analyzes the problems during the new process standard and the collect method of process improvement information. Compared with the quality data before CMMI, it sums up the CMMI effect during the UPS software\hardware research. |
