In the digital background,knowledge service as a concept and service form has been valued by all walks of life and has become a new goal of the development of university press.With the continuous advancement of digital publishing,the university press has put forward higher requirements in the integration of content resources and production and production processes.Knowledge service has great positive significance in promoting the next step of technology development,management and resource integration of university press.This paper analyzes the development of knowledge services in university presses,discusses the connotation and characteristics of knowledge services in the context of digitalization,and compares the differences between knowledge services and other publications,and believes that knowledge services are the higher stage of digital publishing.The external and internal factors of promoting the university's publishing house's knowledge service are explained.It is concluded that the development of the university publishing house's knowledge service has experienced three stages: direct presentation of information resources,interactive functional products,and precise customization.It can be seen that the types of knowledge service products currently carried out by university presses in China mainly include rich media books,online education products,and professional databases.The emergence of knowledge services has realized the upgrading and upgrading of product forms.Through the mobilization and utilization of content resources,social resources and user resources,the university press actively explores the feasible path of developing knowledge services,and finally forms a content value-added service model,a vertical platform service model and customized service services.Patterns of behavior patterns of three types of knowledge services.Based on the current situation of the development of knowledge services in university presses,this paper analyzes the current dilemma of university presses in the development of knowledge services.The first is the lack of overall planning for product layout,the second is the lack of effective profit model,and the third is technology.The security system needs to be improved.Corresponding to the dilemma,put forward a constructive optimization strategy for the next step of the knowledge service of the university press.The first is to build a diversified content product service system,enhance the competitiveness of content products,and the second is on the profit path.To achieve a single-point to multi-point transformation,the real gain in revenue will be realized.The third is to gradually improve the technical application capability in practice and narrow the technological gap with the head enterprises.
