Research On Library Service Transformation Under The Concept Of Knowledge Ecology

Facing the social development environment of great change and development,libraries should actively seek service transformation to adapt to external changes.The library is an important cultural institution providing knowledge service.Its development goal is how to provide readers with more services to meet their needs.At present,the practice of library service transformation is in the ascendant.It is necessary to introduce the concept of knowledge ecology into the transformation of library service in order to provide new theories and methods for library service transformation.This paper uses literature research method to find and sort out the domestic and foreign research on Library Knowledge Ecosystem and library service transformation,comprehensively combs the status quo of library service transformation,and clearly summarizes the relevant concepts of library knowledge ecology.This paper analyzes the motivation,trend,obstacles and measures of library service transformation by using the method of system research.The library is a subsystem of the society,and it is a unified whole with mutual influence and connection with the external environment.In response to the changes of the external environment,the library needs to seek development through transformation.This paper uses the transplantation research method to compare the ecological system concept of natural ecology to the concept of knowledge ecosystem,and sorts out the framework of knowledge ecology concept of library.By using the method of comparative analysis,this paper sums up the differences and relations between the library service before and after the transformation,analyzes the difference and connection between the knowledge ecosystem and the information ecosystem,and analyzes the changes of the library knowledge ecosystem before and after the transformation.The motivation of library service transformation under the concept of knowledge ecology is the change of knowledge environment,the improvement of user demand,the diversity of service subjects and the generalization of knowledge resources.The comprehensive effect of these factors promote the service transformation of library.Under the concept of knowledge ecology,there are four trends in the transformation of library services,namely,the transformation and upgrading of library basic services,the overall creation of library space services,the innovation of library knowledge services and the active development of library intelligent services.The obstacles of library service transformation under the concept of knowledge ecology lie in the following four aspects: the improper management of library knowledge elements,the ineffective construction of library knowledge space,the insufficiency of library knowledge guarantee and the imbalance of library service circle construction.Under the concept of knowledge ecology,the measures of library service transformation are to promote the ecological library elements,optimize the library knowledge ecological field,reconstruct the library knowledge service chain and build the library knowledge ecosystem.The transformation of library service is imminent.The transformation of library service is developing towards the direction of optimizing basic service,creating ecological space service,developing new knowledge service and developing comprehensive intelligent service.The key to the transformation of library service is to constantly improve its own knowledge ecosystem.
