According to the "Research and Actions on Promoting Global Value Chain Cooperation in China" published by the Office of Political Science and Research of the Ministry of Commerce and the Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce,from 2010 to 2013,China's total export value(including goods exports and service exports)was US $ 1,748 billion,US $ 2,080.47 billion,US $ 22.39 billion,and US $ 2,419.6 billion,equivalent to 28.9%,27.8%,26.5%,and 25.5% of China's GDP(calculated at the average exchange rate for the year).If the value added is used for accounting,the value added of China's exports from 2010 to 2013 were US $ 1,098.45 billion,US $ 13.24 billion,US $ 1.493.77 billion,and US $ 16.39 billion,which are equivalent to 18.2%,17.7%,17.7% and About 17.3%,compared with the results of total export statistics,the ratios decreased by 10.7%,10.1%,8.8% and 8.2%,respectively.From the above information,we can see that the growth of China's total foreign trade has benefited from the rapid development of domestic manufacturing in the decades of reform and opening up,and the trade structure has become a more concerned direction in all sectors of society in recent years.Focusing on the growth of the "quantity" of statistical data and focusing more on the development of "quality","Made in China" is also striving to shift to "creation in China".As a modern high-tech product,mobile phones have complex production links and contain many parts.These parts have different types,different technical complexity,and different places of origin.The number and value share of parts produced from a country / region,You can get a glimpse of the country 's position in the global value chain of mobile phone production and the development of the country 's manufacturing industry.In this article,we take Huawei mobile phone,a domestic first-line brand that has developed rapidly in recent years,as the research object.Through case analysis,literature analysis,and comparative analysis,we study the production organization model of Huawei mobile phones.The production organization model is mainly divided into two types: integration and outsourcing.By studying the types and values of major components of Huawei mobile phones and their suppliers,this article finds that Huawei mobile phones are mainly produced in outsourced models.Most of the relatively low-value components and production links are mainly provided by domestic suppliers.The method of outsourcing the same parts to multiple suppliers increases their bargaining power to reduce costs and increase profits;some mid-to-high-end parts such as displays are provided by a few domestic and foreign suppliers,but foreign suppliers ' The products are leading the domestic counterparts in terms of performance and market position;many key components such as RF front-end chips and storage chips are monopolized by foreign suppliers.Although these suppliers are only a small part of the entire industrial chain,they can rely on The monopoly position has earned high profits from Huawei.The distribution of suppliers also shows that domestic mobile phone manufacturing suppliers are in the low-end position in the entire mobile phone value chain.The various specialities of Huawei's mobile phone suppliers make Huawei's current production organization model have many hidden dangers,especially in the context of Sino-U.S.Trade frictions.The United States has imposed various sanctions on Huawei including the parts embargo,making Huawei more urgently seeking to resolve foreign Monopoly issues of suppliers.In fact,Huawei has made forward-looking preparations earlier,and has made great achievements in mobile phone chips,mobile phone operating systems and some key components.Huawei also invests a lot of personnel and funds in R & D activities each year.Although these R & D activities are not directly related to mobile phone products,the accumulation of R & D results has provided guarantee for Huawei's mobile phone to optimize its own production organization model.Although other domestic mobile phone manufacturers are not threatened by sanctions,their reliance on some foreign monopoly suppliers is not beneficial in the long run.According to data,Huawei 's self-developed Kirin chip costs about $ 30 on flagship phones,and Xiaomi Need to pay Qualcomm about $ 150 to get the same level of chips.But objectively speaking,this situation is by no means Xiaomi's wish,and Xiaomi is also developing its own surging series of chips.Therefore,Huawei's mobile phone experience is only of reference significance to domestic mobile phone manufacturers.R & D results do not mean that there is an increase in investment,nor do you mean that increase in investment has the ability to increase.This article summarizes Huawei 's mobile phone production organization model optimization experience,and combines the actual situation from the mobile phone manufacturing company level and the government level.Provides feasible suggestions and ideas for the development of domestic mobile phone manufacturers and suppliers.
