In the design and development of radar products,in order to ensure that the radar system can achieve the predetermined performance,a large number of field tests are needed to verify the signal processing machine's ability to process echo data.In this paper,a high-performance,miniaturized multi-channel wideband radar echo simulation platform is designed for the problem that the radar signal processor needs to face high test cost and long test environment in the field test.The platform uses the all programmable system-on-chip ZYNQ-7000 is used as the main control chip.The high-performance DAC chip AD9164(sampling rate up to 12GSPS)and high-performance ADC chip AD9625(sampling rate up to 2.5GSPS)are used to complete signal generation and acquisition,and different radar targets are built by software.The scene can generate echo signals of different targets and different environments to realize the playback and acquisition functions of the intermediate frequency echo signals,thereby simulating different test environments for the radar signal processor.The main work done in this paper is as follows: 1.Designed and implemented the echo simulation hardware platform,integrated parameter analysis,working mode control,data storage and other functions on the ZYNQ SoC.The high-speed DAC chip AD9164 and the high-speed ADC chip AD9625 are driven by the JESD204 B high-speed interface to realize multi-channel synchronous radar echo signals playback and capture.2.The MATLAB is used to develop the host computer display and control software on the PC side.By simulating various types of radar echo signals,the target model and the environment model are respectively constructed and combined in a linear superposition to generate target information,clutter and interference waveform data.The user can implement the parameter configuration of the echo simulator through software.3.The echo simulation platform designed in this paper is verified.Firstly,the signal playback and sampling performance are tested separately.Then the data synchronization performance between multiple channels is tested and analyzed.Finally,the scene with strong clutter and interference is realized.The multi-channel synchronous echo generation completes the simulation of the external field test workflow and verifies the performance of the radar signal processor.
