With the development of infrared guidance systems,the research of infrared hardware-inthe-loop simulation technology is deepening.In order to deal with complex situations of the actual battlefield,it is required that the infrared hardware-in-the-loop simulation system can process high frame rates and high gray level video data.The infrared target simulator receives high-gray dynamic video images with infrared characteristics and converts them into formats supported by infrared seekers.Therefore,it is necessary to study the related image coding and decoding systems.At present,the data processing and transmission parts of most image codec systems are on the same PCB,which have a single interface type and a low bandwidth.Aiming at the drawbacks and shortcomings of current image coding and decoding systems,this paper studies the interface PCB design of the images coding and decoding system compatible with multiple video outputs.The interface PCB includes a HDMI interface PCB and a hybrid interface PCB.The HDMI interface PCB includes 1 HDMI input,1 DVI output and 6 HDMI outputs.The hybrid interface PCB includes 1 DVI input,1 HDMI input,1 LVDS output,1 VGA output,1 Camera Link output,1 DVI output and 2 optical module outputs.Compatible with multiple video formats output,two interface PCBs share one same core PCB,which can transmit high frame rates and high gray level video data.The main content of this paper is the design of two interface PCBs of the images coding and decoding system,and the logic design of corresponding output interfaces based on FPGA.Firstly,the background of interface PCB design for the high frame rates and high gray level images coding system compatible with multiple video formats and its significance in practical engineering applications are expounded,and the current research at home and abroad is introduced.Aiming at the shortcomings of existing image coding and decoding systems,the hardware design of the interface PCB is completed.Secondly,the corresponding schematic design and the PCB design are completed.The signal integrity of the PCB layout is analyzed after the PCB layout is completed,and the PCB design is optimized by simulation waveform results,building the hardware platform of the interface PCB.Then the corresponding output interface is designed with the logic of FPGA.Finally,each module of the interface PCB is tested and verified,and the result show s that the design meets the actual need.
