With the rapid development of modern digital image technology,image acquisition and transmission system has been widely used in medical,aerospace,military and industrial fields.Therefore high-frame rate and high-definition image acquisition and transmission technology has become an important research direction.This paper has designed a single chip high definition and high frame rate image acquisition and transmission system based on ZedBoard.In this paper,image acquisition is based on CMV2000 image sensor.The image resolution is 2048×1088,and the frame rate can reach 280 fps.In the design,ZedBoard of Xilinx Company is used as the main control board,and the characteristics of ZedBoard ARM + FPGA are used to complete the high-speed processing and transmission of big data.The main function of the FPGA is to configure the CMV2000 image sensor by SPI bus,receive the low-voltage differential image data from the sensor,process the received serial data in parallel through ISERDESE2 module,and stitch the image data into rows to restore the image data.Finally,the video data is converted into AXI4-Stream format data for easy transmission.The ARM part is embedded in the Linux system,which drives the FPGA,collects the data into the spatial buffer,communicates with the host computer through the Gigabit Network using the Socket communication program,and transmits the image data.In the design,the VDMA core provided by Xilinx Company is used to realize high-speed interconnection between FPGA and ARM through AXI bus,and the high-speed processing and transmission of big data are realized.The upper computer program is written by C++ language,and the interface is developed by Qt platform,which realizes the real-time receiving and displaying of images.After testing,the sensor adopts the highest frame rate mode(10bits),the image resolution is 2048 x 1088,the maximum frame rate is 280 fps,and the image acquisition rate is 6400 Mbps,which can realize high-speed and high-definition image acquisition and transmission.The frame rate of image upload is 20 fps.The host computer realizes the real-time display of high-definition images.In this paper,a high-definition and high-frame image acquisition and transmission system is designed based on ZedBoard platform,combining the advantages of both FPGA and ARM,and the characteristics of high-speed interconnection between them.
