Application Research Of Scrum Method In Software Development Project Of Y Company

Y Company is a large-scale e-commerce trading platform operating company under the umbrella of a certain provincial commercial group company.With the rapid development of the e-commerce industry,the company is faced with the problem of how to quickly perceive customer needs and strengthen the organization's ability to respond to customer needs,and more and more problems encountered by the development department-the company's core department in software development project management.Software development projects are the core work of the development department.Improving software development efficiency and shortening the software delivery cycle have become an important issue for company leaders.Agile development is the most popular software project development method today.Its iterative incremental development model is different from the traditional waterfall development model and is suitable for application in software development projects where rapid changes are required.A large number of literature and research results about software project management and agile development are studied and analyzed.According to the actual business situation of the company,the practice framework of the Scrum method(An Agile Method)are mainly studied.Through combing and analyzing the current situation of Y Company's existing software project management,three main problems are summarized:the project process problem,the project's progress management problem and the project's organizational communication problem,and the three issues are analyzed in detail.In view of the three problems in Y company software project management,based on the Scrum method and the DevOps concept,the project process,project schedule management tools and project organization methods in the company's software project management are improved.In terms of project process,Scrum's iterative incremental development process replaces the original waterfall development process,and the information feedback is increased through continuous iteration of small cycles to realize the flexibility of software development.In terms of project schedule management tools,Requirements management methods,working hours estimation methods and visual progress management tools were adjusted.In the project organization,functional organization is improved to Scrum's self-organizing project team.It is conducive to enhancing communication between project stakeholders and improving the development efficiency and morale of the development team.Finally,through the implementation of Scrum development model in the BTB project,the project process,project schedule tools and project organization methods were improved,and the improvement effect of the method on the Y company software project was verified.The agile development method that integrates the DevOps concept has important value for Y Company's software project management improvement:it significantly improves the software development efficiency of the company's development team,shortens the product delivery cycle,and increases the transparency of the software project and the controllability of the project schedule.Sexuality enhances the confidence of customers and business units in the development team;breaks the gap between functional departments and enhances the overall morale of the development team.
