As a network platform for "sharing news anytime and anywhere",Weibo had become popular due to its unique sharing and social nature.A large number of celebrities had started to enter Weibo to share their daily life with their fans.At the same time,new features and connotations appeared in the fan culture,and the fans' participation consciousness began to wake up.They were no longer satisfied with passively receiving the information related to the idols,but hoped to participate in the whole process of idol making.Therefore,the fan-based idols came into being.The fan-based idols and fans on the micro blog platform to carry out emotional labor together,produce a strong emotional connection,become an emotional community.This paper takes emotional labor as the research basis,takes Jackson Yi and his fans as the research object,adopts the methods of network ethnography,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview,and focuses on the cultivation of the behavior and activities of the fan-based idol and his fans on Weibo,and studies and analyzes the two-way value generated by these emotional labor.The study found that: the emotional labor of the fan-based idols on Weibo can be divided into three periods: the early stage to show the true self;the middle stage to find the correct positioning,with the help of marketing methods to enhance public awareness;the later stage to return to the traditional idol,complete the formation process.The emotional labor of fans is mostly carried out in the form of fans organization.The efficient cooperation within fans organization provides necessary guarantee and basic boundary for emotional labor.While the fan-based idols to improve themselves through their own emotional work,they also strengthen the emotional connection with fans,so as to meet the differentiated needs of the society and the social needs of fans.The emotional work of fans is realized by capital,which directly promotes the capital appreciation of Weibo platform.At the same time,these emotional labor behaviors also have potential risks that cannot be ignored.The introduction of this paper introduces the basis of selecting Jackson Yi and his fans as the research object,and sorts out the previous domestic and foreign research related to fans and emotional labor,and clearly defines two basic concepts: the fan-based idol and emotional labor.The second chapter makes a textual analysis of all Jackson Yi's weibos,and discusses how to make use of weibos to carry out emotional labor and the characteristics of these emotional labor in combination with the situation of other fan-based idols.The third chapter focuses on the emotional labor of fans,starting from the fans organization of emotional labor,the process of emotional labor of fans is described and classified in detail by analyzing the fans organization.At the same time,in-depth interviews were conducted to analyze the psychological motivation of fans' emotional labor,so as to provide a factual basis for fans to follow stars rationally.The fourth chapter starts with the fans' organization of emotional labor,and through the analysis of the fans' organization,the process of fans' emotional labor can be shown more clearly.The fifth chapter goes back to the bottom of this paper,and expounds the value and significance of cultivating the emotional labor of idols and fans respectively.In the end,the conclusion of the research is summarized and the deficiencies are reflected.
