Investigation And Research On The Current Situation Of Museums In Baoji Area

As a social public cultural service institution,the museum bears the heavy responsibility of public education and cultural communication.In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China's museum industry has developed well and its number has grown rapidly,from 349 in 1978 to 5535 today.Among them,small and medium-sized museums account for a large proportion in the whole museum system.However,in practice,the continuous growth of the number of museums has not led to the synchronous rise in quality.Due to the shortage of funds and talents,there are many practical problems in small and medium-sized museums.These problems not only lead to the slow development of small and medium-sized museums themselves,but also have an impact on the overall development of museums.Baoji is located in the west of Guanzhong area,Shaanxi Province,with a long history and profound cultural heritage.Baoji is rich in Museum types,For the development of small and medium-sized museums in the research area,the museums in this area are representative to some extent.This paper takes the museums in Baoji area as the main body of research,and conducts field investigation,analysis and research on the museums in this area.Firstly,the development process and current situation of museums in Baoji are investigated,mainly from the aspects of quantity distribution,exhibition,talent team and social service.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of museums in Baoji.Through field investigation and interviews,it obtains information and analyzes the existing problems of museums in Baoji.Finally,the paper discusses the development and prospect of museums in Baoji region,and discusses the sustainable development of museums from different perspectives according to the specific current situation and problems in this region.The purpose of this paper is to obtain first-hand information through field research on the current situation of museums in Baoji,so as to provide references for the sustainable development of small and medium-sized museums.
