The first chapter defined the research background, which clarified the basic content and main features of the study objects such as museums, mobile media and APP. It also abstracted the existing research results, summarized the research status to make this research paper clear and standardized. This chapter also pointed out the significance of this study and proposed research method used herein, marked out the delineation while scoped the direction of the contents of each after part.The main value of the museum APP categories lies under the reshape and upgrade of the traditional museum display and navigation methods. In order to study the proper class features and ideal state of the museum APP, inevitably it requires the understanding of the major traditional museum display methods, navigation ways’ contents, media, defects, fractures as well as the requirements of the transformation and upgrade. The main problems above are analyzed in the second chapter.It is a major problem on finding the way to integrate the mobile media APP with the display and navigation of the traditional museums. To solve this we should be clear about the background of the APP building, application status, the main features and development trends. The third chapter analyzed these problems, also introduced the APP application status along with related problems in the museum display and navigation.The existing museum fall into trouble applying and promoting APP. I did my research in 3 directions: user research, interactive design and user interface design. The questionnaire is made in the direction of the user position locating and the understanding of what they need; Design the Application’s overall structure, functional processes, and overall layout.The fifth chapter is the end result of the innovative content of this article, and also the focus of this study. I am going to design an APP that brings museum’s display resources superiority into full play, demonstrating Qiqihar city scenes and historical cultural resources in the best way. Last but not least, meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of the Qiqihar citizens and foreign workers towards the museum APP. This APP would not only apply to the Qiqihar City Museum, which will have widespread implications and reference value for the small or medium-sized museums in general cities. I expect it to provide new ideas and explore new areas for the museum APP categories.
