This paper choose American major newspaper to make a comparative study.By collecting the data of “The New York Times”,“The Washington Post”,“The Wall Street Journal”,this paper also make the frame theory as a reference and use the news discourse structure to figure out that How the American major newspaper report“ belt and road”.At the same time,this paper use the content analysis to find the reporting frame of “One belt and One road” from different perspective,for instance,overall framework,theme framework,structural framework.In addiction,on the basis of case study,the paper make the specific discussion under the same topic.The paper finds out that American newspaper really put emphasis on “belt and road” from several views.On the one hand,three American newspapers show a different characteristic in the news.“New York Times” holds the principle of objectiveness and fair in their reporting,And they lay more importance on the linked influence about One belt and one road.“The Wall Street Journal” regards economic as important.“Washington Post” values politics about it.On the other hand,this paper find that the bias and stereotypes existed in the reporting of three American newspaper.Finally,the paper analysis the reason for the formation of various frame from political interests,cultural and the media's position.
