In recent years,in order to attract outstanding talents to settle in this city,many first-and second-tier cities have begun to “grab the war”,and many cities have also introduced preferential settlement policies.Measuring the quality of a city is not only determined by the hardware indicators of urban infrastructure,geographic location,and development.More and more people are beginning to pay attention to the “soft power” of the city,that is,the image of the city and the culture of the city.As a result,cities are also paying more attention to the construction of their own city image.In the dissemination of the image of the city,media reports have also played a role that cannot be ignored.This paper mainly takes the case of creating a civilized city event in Shijiazhuang City,Hebei Province in 2017,taking the storytelling narrative report of the media as a research sample,and using the content analysis method and text analysis method to study the media story narrative report on the city image communication.The constructive role of revealing how the narrative report of the media gives the city "feelings".This analysis first explained the sample selection and research process of media reports during the creation of civilized cities in Shijiazhuang,including the analysis of the number of reports,the genre of reports and the topic of the reports.Storytelling reports on the construction of city image are divided into four steps: First,storytelling narrative report is a true record of the real world,which is the basis of storytelling narrative to the construction of city image.For this reason,the narrative structure of storytelling It analyzes the narrative perspective and the frequency of narrative.It analyzes that storytelling is good at comprehensively operating various narrative techniques,making news events more realistic and vivid in front of readers.Secondly,through the research on the target and the report discourse,it analyzes how the text causes the subjective image of the reader.The subjective impression of the reader includes memory,emotion,etc.The inner resonance of the reader through the report is the psychological construction of the narrative to the image of the city.Important steps.The storytelling narrative connects the urban space with the collective memory by selecting the settings of the local big events and focusing on the tiny details in the urban space,thus completing the construction of the spatial image of the city.Finally,based on the above steps,the storytelling narrative is intervened in the local culture,the individual and historical perspectives are integrated,and the positive energy mobilization tendency is presented to complete the cultural construction of the city image.This study believes that storytelling is a careful selection of local events in daily life,and thus serves as a bridge to associate with the reader's subjective imagination,and then enhance the audience's image of a city by combining space and memory.The general understanding and perception of the image of the citizen or the feelings of the city,and the resulting sense of identity with the city.The storytelling report can play a positive and guiding role in the construction of the city image,and can create a multi-dimensional and three-dimensional image of the city.
