With the development of urbanization in China,cities began to discuss the construction of city image one after another.While making some achievements in China's urban image films,there are also some phenomena such as templating of shooting contents,single shooting methods and repetition of symbolic elements,which have triggered criticism such as "government bulletin" and "Yangzhou Fried rice".Therefore,reviewing the content development,summarizing the characteristics of the stage and summarizing the changing rules of the urban image film are conducive to the continuous production of high-quality content and play a role in the increasingly fierce media competition.Widely watched and analysis our country city image slices is presented in this paper,on the basis of selection of Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Shenzhen from 2001 to 2019,more than 40 official city image as samples,using the combination of quantitative and qualitative content analysis method,to more than ten thousand effective imaging unit theme category construction and data analysis,on the city's image from multiple levels to complete the evolution of the content of the reading.At the same time,in order to make the research more three-dimensional,this paper makes a horizontal comparison of the city image films of Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Shenzhen,and explores the differences and tendencies of different cities in the content production of city image films.On the logical structure,based on the Lewis Mumford city propagation theory and communication theory of city spirit coordinates,based on the medium environment to the north of Guangzhou,the city's image to phase in installment,respectively in theme,narrative level,interactive communication,analyzing the characteristics of the different stages,summarize the stage and the urban characteristic,discusses how to "speak good city stories".In short,this paper studies the content evolution of urban image films in Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Shenzhen from the perspective of media environment,verifies the relationship between the content development of urban image films and the changes of media environment,and provides a meaningful reference for the development of urban image films in the future.This paper not only makes a systematic analysis of the basic theory and development process of urban image film,but also connects media theory with content production,and finally discusses the relationship between media environment and content change,in an attempt to provide help for the differentiation and upgrading of urban image,and finally provide impetus for the development of the city.
