Analysis Of Narrative Strategies To Shape Characters About "the Rural Nanny In The City"

"Non-fiction" writing is a way of unremitting exploration and rigorous research on real events happening in real life,and deepening the way of writing the humanity and truth behind the facts."Authenticity" and "literariness" are its two salient features.So it has unique charm in revealing the truth of the era and showing the traits of the characters,and get the favor by the media and audiences.Therefore,the study of the advantages of Non-fiction writing in shaping characters has very significant meaning both in theory and practice.This study takes non-fiction work "the Rural Nanny in the City" as the research text,from the perspective of narratology,by using Narrative approach to explore the narrative features of non-fiction writing in shaping characters.After analyzing "the Rural Nanny in the City" in narrative structure,narrative perspective,narrative rhythm and narrative skills,these following conclusions are drawn:Firstly,in terms of narrative structure,according to the combination of sequences in non-fiction works,it can be divided into two types of narrative structure: mosaic narrative sequence and continuous narrative theme.These two types of structure are used interchangeably,from the past,the present,and the future to describe characters and themes,and the fragmented characters will be stitched together to help shape the image of the rural nanny.Second,in terms of narrative perspective,the commonly used narrative perspectives include zero focus narrative perspective,inner focus narrative perspective,and out-of-focus narrative perspective.Non-fiction writing In order to make the text story more vivid,the biggest feature is that it is not limited to a single narrator.It needs to flexibly change the foothold of the narrative perspective,use the "composite perspective" to narrative,and mix three narrative perspectives according to the plot development.By freely switching the angle of view,the work can be more rhythmic,further enhancing the appeal of the character.Thirdly,in terms of narrative rhythm,the narrative rhythm is mainly divided into four categories: “omitted,outlined,scene,paused”.Starting from the reader's viewing psychology,different narrative rhythms are arranged for the “beginning,development,climax,ending” of the narrative pot.It is necessary to ensure the viewer's continuous attention,as well as to achieve both relaxation and aesthetics,to enhance the three-dimensional sense of the characters.Finally,in terms of narrative techniques,in order to shape the characters more realistic and stereoscopic in Non-fiction writing,this article uses appropriate narrative techniques to restore the story scene,enhance readers' sense of substitution,and demonstrate its advantages in shaping characters through symbolic details and recorded dialogue.
