With the rapid development of the Internet,more and more enterprises begin to have a huge intranet.How to achieve efficient,safe and convenient network management effect has always been a hot topic for the industry.SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol)adopts an independent user-based security model and does not support the mainstream certificate mechanism.In the environment of massive heterogeneous nodes,there are many kinds of network devices.The original specification of SNMP about MIB can not guarantee compatibility of all network devices.Therefore,in the network management of heterogeneous devices,a new MIB standard corresponding to it must be selected.In addition,many vendors pursue efficiency and neglect security,often implement on their own devices based on the old version of SNMP protocol,which to a certain extent causes the compatibility and security problems of device communication.The existing network management mostly uses relational database in the design.This kind of database has low expansibility and can not adapt to the storage of network performance data of various formats under massive nodes.The main contents of this paper include the following:1.Aiming at the security and universality of SNMP protocol under massive heterogeneous nodes,a new protocol architecture is designed and implemented.The new protocol improves the handshake,key agreement and encryption mechanism of SNMP protocol,accelerates the speed of message encryption and authentication,and improves its security to a certain extent.In addition,the new protocol follows the X.509 standard and introduces the certificate mechanism based on the original SNMP,which makes the protocol integrate into the widely used PKI system and improves the universality of the protocol.2.This paper proposes a new network management system architecture.To solve the problem of diversity of MIB standards for heterogeneous devices,we propose a strategy of discovering network topology fingerprint for heterogeneous devices,which solves the problem of diversity of MIB in SNMP network management under heterogeneous environment.Aiming at the diversity of protocol versions of heterogeneous devices,this paper proposes a method based on intermediate processing server,which solves the compatibility and communication security problems of old versions of protocol devices.In addition,in view of the diversity of data storage in SNMP deployment under mass nodes,this paper uses non-relational database for data storage.Compared with traditional relational database,this kind of database has the characteristics of easy expansion and flexible data type,and can well store a wide variety of network equipment performance data under mass nodes.3.Based on the proposed new protocol stack and system architecture,a SNMP network management system is designed and implemented,and its performance is compared with the existing SNMP network management system.The experimental results show that the new network management model has higher communication efficiency and can solve the appeal problem well.
