In recent years,information technology has been widely applied in various fields,and new media has emerged at the historic moment.Compared with the traditional three major media of television,radio and newspaper,the new media is more flexible,more widespread,more interactive and topical,so it has caused unprecedented challenge to traditional media.The "new north" column,which I work for,is a livelihood news program of the LRTV.Its audience rating frequently ranks first in the province at the same time.However,with the development of new media,its audience rating and HUT have been declining,and its original format and efficiency of producing programs for broadcast can no longer meet the needs of the market.It needs to be transformed to taking the market as the direction,taking the content as the core competitiveness of the production idea.In this way,higher requirements are put forward for the resource management of columns and the professional level of personnel.The column is now lacking in information and knowledge management,so both the retrieval and sharing of knowledge need to be reconstructed.In addition,the column production system is disconnected from the knowledge management system,and the broadcasting process is very complicated.This study takes the column "new north" as an example,combines the problems existing in the column,and explores how traditional TV media realize its development through knowledge management under the environment of new media.Firstly,the knowledge base of "new north" should be constructed to encode knowledge and realize retrieval function,so as to facilitate media practitioners to quickly and effectively find useful knowledge and present it.Then it puts forward the innovative method of knowledge management,establishes the knowledge sharing system,transforms the tacit knowledge of employees into explicit knowledge,and continuously accumulates and applies knowledge to create more knowledge.At the same time,improve the production and release of the program,improve the efficiency of the program broadcast.The last part of the study proposes the management reform for the column,which also provides guidance and reference for other TV media in the industry on knowledge management integration and optimization,hoping that this research can provide an effective method and idea for the survival and development of the "new north" in the new media environment.
