In the era of the mobile Internet and with the rapid development of information technology,the popularity of mobile terminals.People's life pace accelerates continuously.People will access to information and read all aspects of information on mobile devices anywhere,which represents a fragmented reading.College students,as the main group of readers,are surrounded by a large number of scattered,jumping and fragmented information to obtain the information in the enjoyment of the convenience of fragmented reading,reducing their self-thinking ability.There is a lack of awareness about individual fragmented reading.This paper focus on how to make the students fully understand fragmented reading and make reasonable use of it,as well as how to exert the function of fragmented reading effectively to enhance the quality of fragmented reading.The paper starts from the introduction of the fragmented reading behavior characteristics of college students,and its cause these behaviors and the analysis for the competitive products,based on user experience design theory as guidance and combining with the method of user demand analysis to study college students' behaviors of fragmented reading.The questionnaire survey method and the depth interview method are mainly used in user demand analysis in this paper.The questionnaire survey explores the current situation of college students' behaviors of fragmented reading for the purpose of finding out the factors that affect the efficiency of college students' fragmented reading and finding specific solutions to the improvement of the efficiency of content acquisition;the depth interviews are designed to explore the goals,context and related factors of college students' fragmented reading,aiming to solve the problems related to college students' fragmented reading more specifically.The demand points acquired would be combined with the common characteristics of users to put forward the solutions to the need of fragmented reading of college students.The APP for college students fragmented reading is designed on the basis of the empirical research and according to user's demand with the following conclusions obtained: 1.To provide personalized article recommendations according to distribution of the majors and interests of college students shall help to improve the efficiency of information access and to strength the reading enthusiasm of students;2.The socialization of fragmented reading of college students enables them to read and select materials together,which is conducive to improve the quality of fragmented reading content and the utilization effectiveness of fragmented time;3 Helping them to understand the characters of their fragmented reading behaviors including time length,and distribution of interests can stimulate students to resonate with each other and enhance the user's sense of reading achievement.Based on the user demand theory,it is of great practical significance to find out the various needs of fragmented reading of college students and conduct design practices.However,there are still some deficiencies in this study,which are caused by the scope of the population and the time limit.The research results may have some biases.Meantime,with the development and change of the times,the situation of College Students' fragmented reading will also change.Therefore,the research on this topic should always be improved from the depth and width.
