History is the best textbook.If you want to learn more about the history of China,you have to understand the editorials of People's Daily.Learning the history of the Party and the country is a compulsory course for upholding and developing the socialism with Chinese characteristics,and it can also continue to advance various causes.As with this course,we must learn it well.On December 18^th,1978,the Third Plenary Session of the 11^thh Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was hold,from then on,the reform and opening-up policy has already been for 40 years.During the period of time,there were1844 pieces of editorials in the People's Daily.By writing the words,it record China's prosperous and great achievements.Along with the social development,there were the adjustments of interest patterns,the collision of diverse thoughts,and the broad space of the public opinion expressions.Current trends indicate that there is a lot of information,but the good and the bed are intermingled.The possible result is that there is no guidance which we can abide by.Editorials,which are called the most instructive“comments”,which can meet this demand.With the authoritative platform,it can guide the public opinions well.From the time People's Daily was found,it has already 70 years.As the Organ of the central committee of the communist of China,it is an important tool for our country to guide the public opinion.The editorials of People's Daily reflect the ideological guidelines and the policies of the Party,and represent the highest standards and specifications of China's newspapers in the field of public guidance.And their ultimate goal is to guide the audiences effectively.In the process of guidance,the authoritative position of the editorial can be highlighted and the strong policy can be reflected.In this paper,466 pieces of editorials were extracted by the methods of stratified sampling and purposive sampling.With the ways of content analysis,literature research,case study and other ways,combined with the theory of public opinion,Marxist theory of public opinion guidance and so on.Firstly,the paper introduces the general situations of the editorial of People's Daily,then analysis the content of the editorials.In terms of the analysis of editorial form,it mainly analysis the symbols of the editorials,and the layout which the editorials are presented.As with the content of editorials,the analysis mainly from the perspectives of the editorial topics,editorial structures,editorial text characteristics and editorial editors.The whole process of analysis,always along with the Marxist theory of public opinion guidance.In the end of the paper,there are several ways to guide the public opinion:rely on the People's Daily platform,improve the guidance of public opinion;construct social identity and express the popularization of policies and guidelines;make the agenda setting to build community consensus;play the role of public opinion leaders;and the editorials always adhere to the characteristics of the Marxist public opinion.People's Daily editorials have always been dominated by positive publicity and guided by corrected values.Finally,based on the People's Daily editorial analysis research,which is guided by the public opinion of Marxism theory and the thoughts,the author will combine the theory and the mainstream media,to analysis their consensus guidance,the author make it from three aspects:“the whole party runs newspapers and the masses run newspapers;policy,adhere to the correct public opinion guidance and grasp the good opinion of“the degree of effect”,which it to make the paper have more social significance,to promote the formation of good opinion environment in our country,which is significance for our country to construct a harmonious society.
