Research And Design Of Valuable Asset Management System For University Based On Radio Frequency Identification Technology

With the increasing number and variety of school assets,the management of school fixed assets has become complicated.In order to improve the efficiency of the management of the fixed assets,traditional methods are usually based on computer management systems.Although it is convenient to be able to achieve a better management system,it can only run within the computer,which severely restricts its role in asset management at the equipment site.Traditional manual asset management mechanism,inventory,purchase,lending,etc.are all independent,which results in inaccurate summary of assets information,and inconsistent of accounting.In addition,the work complexity of this method is also large.It is no longer possible to satisfy the needs of asset management and systematic management.In such an environment,there is a need for an asset management system that can be accurate and efficient,enabling it to increase the efficiency of asset use and reduce the loss of assets while improving the efficiency of efficient asset management.RFID(Radio Frequency Identification,RFID)is a kind of wireless communication technology that can identify targets and read and write related information through radio frequencies without having to physically or optically contact the identification system with the target to be measured.RFID can be well used in asset management systems.It can not only obtain accurate relevant information of current assets,but also increase the security of school asset inventory.This article proposes an efficient asset management system based on radio frequency identification technology,relying on RFID,development and design under Visual Studio 2008 development platform and SQL Server 2008 database management system environment.This system makes full use of the advantages of RFID technology,can effectively monitor the assets of colleges and universities and the rational use of resources,improve management efficiency and better serve the teaching of universities.
