With rapid development of engineering education, assets management in universities laboratory has been a big problem since gradually increasing numbers and species. Opening laboratory activities also increase the laboratory equipment liquidity, and the work environment is becoming more and more complex. Traditional fixed assets management no longer meet the requirements of currrent situation.To improve the efficiency, trace the fixed assets information conveniently, ensure the safety of the fixed assets environment, this thesis proposed a design of assets management system in the intelligence lab, which involves IOT technology, embedded technology, wireless communication technology,WSN etc.This thesis presents the designed intelligent laboratory asset management system, including the core controller, data acquisition module, remote control module and the alarm equipments. The core controller unitilizes Samsung S3C6410 as the core chip, the Linux as the operation system platform, Qt for embedded human-computer interaction programing. The core controller is designed for the management of the laboratory assets and the monitoring of laboratory environment.The data acquisition module is divided into asstes data and environment data acquisition parts. Asset data acquisition is performed by the UHF RFID handset, under the Android system, using the handset to carry out label scanning, while data management and communication upforward. Environmental data is collected by certain sensors through ZigBee network. Remote control module is refers to obtain laboratory asset information and environmental condition via a browser on mobile phones or other mobile devices.By carefully testing the handset software, core controller and the remote module, the system works well and meet the requirement. The designed system provides a new mode for laboratory fixed asset management, has remakable reference value in universities.
