In recent years, with the proposed and implemented of "perception of China", the internet of things has become a national economic growth point of the strategic emerging industry. As the core of the internet of things in perception layer—RFID technology has been more and more widely used and studied. At the same time, more and more companies hope to improve the management level through the internet of things, especially for the management of precious asset. For a long time, the management of precious asset is lacking of effective control measures, and cumbersome, and ineffective, and always appears to accounts and things discrepancies. Eventually lead to the lossing of precious asset. The appearance and development of RFID technology is expected to fundamentally change the traditional way of precious asset management.This paper deeply analyzes the RFID technology features and the drawbacks of the current precious asset management.And proposed to use RFID technology to manage precious asset, to achieve efficient and convenient management.Using RFID indoor location advantage to realize the real-time moitoring and alarming of precious asset. The main work and achievements are as follows:1. We expound and analyze the RFID technology, detail the composition and working principle of RFID. And also summarized some of the key technologies of RFID, especially studied deeply the RFID indoor location algorithm, and proposed an improved algorithm for higher positioning accuracy.2. We detail the current problems of the precious asset management, and combining the advantages of RFID technology. And then we detail this precious asset management system based on RFID technology requirements, including functional requirements, system performance requirements and safety requirements. On this basis, we carried out the overall design, system function design and database design.3. According to the requirements of system design, we implement this precious asset management system based on RFID. We realized the real-time monitoring of precious asset combined with Baidu map by scanning the signal strength of the tags, and alarming for the precious asset which received signal strength value changed great.This paper gives a deep investigation on the RFID technology, then designs and implements the precious asset management system based on RFID, and realizes the real-time monitoring of precious asset and alarm functions, which is traditional precious asset management can not be achieved. This has certain practial application value and has made the exploration of great significance for the practical application of RFID technology.
