The Link Organization Mould Research Of Libraries' Modern Special Collections Resources

Under the environment of digital network,the number of the digital books and periodicals is rapidly increasing and search engine gets a better development,the user conveniently gets the information resources and proposes higher requirements for information resources.At the same time,the utilization rate of the library collection resources has been falling combined with the homogeneity of resources is making the library collection resources utilization face severe challenges."Demand depending on service,service relying on resources",which requires the library collecting more resources provides the user with a unique and competitive service supporting users knowledge application and knowledge innovation.In the face of this background,the library needs to break the traditional concept and pattern of text resources organization and use the technology of Linked Data to deeply and fully reveal the knowledge content of complicated modern collection resources,which meets the specific needs of users.It is of great significance to improve the library core competence and gives a bright direction for a sustainable development.Based on revealing the current organization situation of special collection resources and exploring the future direction of library resources organization,the literature research,field investigation,model construction and empirical research methods are synthetically used in order to construct the organization model of modern special collection resources and carried out a series of studies.The concept connotation,function and characteristics are deeply analyzed,although the concepts are generalized,modern special collection resources are different from the traditional special collection resources.However,the core characteristics are outstanding and have little changes.In order to explore the appropriate organizational model special collections resources in library,this study comparative and analyze several methods which are commonly used.It is concluded that the metadata method and the ontology method cannot solve the current predicament of the modern special collection resources organization,and the technology of Linked Data should be introduced into the library in order to achieve knowledge linked.Furthermore 66 domestic and international libraries' current situation of modern special collections are investigated,founding that the special collection resources not only the name diversification,but also disunity of classification criteria,weak linked between special collections,the way of obtaining simplification,causing the user to retrieve special collections resources efficiency lowly.According to the situation,linked data technology is used to create the unique special collection resource linked organization module to meet deep knowledge services of the user."resource layer" — "middle layer" — "knowledge layer" are adopted,with the resource description framework(RDF)and URI identifier to deeply reveal and express special collections,knowledge units and various complex semantic relations between them.In order to verify the rationality and feasibility of the association model of special resource,a research sample are established that the data of GuoDing library in Southeast University library,collects systematically and sorts out data,including periodicals in Guoding library,treatise sets of Li Guoding,books,pictures and audio-visual resources,the total amount of metadata is 24,524.Using Drupal's linked data publishing platform,the linked dataset of Guiding Library resources was successfully released,which contained more than 165000 RDF triples,14300 RDF triples of articles.At present,research on special collections resources are more concentrated in the special collections resources collection methods,protection,development and use of services,few of the special collections of resources into the organization model depth study and research.On basis of researching on the functions,features and organization methods of special collections,the paper build a unique organization framework of special collection resources using linked data,in order to meet the needs of user's services in-depth.Guoding Library resources which contained the sundry type diversity,complicated contents was selected to build the linked data model of special collections resources,achieve multi-angle and multiple levels of revealing and utilization,there are not only strong practical significance and demonstration,but also assistance which can deepen the knowledge services in library.
