The Research On PMO Maturity Of Shanghai Branch Of B-Soft Co.,Ltd.

With the rapid changes in the living environment of enterprises and the increasing pressure of market competition,enterprises continue to maintain competitiveness through innovation and change,and projects are the carrier of enterprise innovation and change.Therefore,the importance of project management is increasing.At the same time,the improvement of enterprise project management capabilities requires the support of a project management office(PMO)with increasing maturity.PMO plays an important role in improving enterprise project management capabilities and leading and promoting the project's project transformation.Based on this situation,in order to improve the project management level of the enterprise,this paper takes the Shanghai Branch of B-Soft Co.,Ltd.as an example,using research methods such as literature research method,questionnaire survey method and case analysis method,based on organization-level project management,PMO and The relevant theoretical basis of PMO maturity,carry out research on PMO maturity,and based on the basic functions and growth paths of industry-recognized PMOs,through the development of PMO maturity assessment criteria,selection of PMO maturity assessment methods and determination of PMO maturity evaluation results are three steps to construct a PMO maturity assessment model,which provides a benchmark for the PMO's functional status and target expectations,and provides a basis for the continuous improvement of the organization's PMO maturity level,and finally takes the company's PMO maturity assessment as a case.Empirically,the validity of the PMO maturity assessment model is verified.Through the research in this paper,it can be concluded that the maturity of PMO is closely related to the functions it can provide.The number of services that organizations receive from PMO directly reflects the value that PMO can provide to organizations.The development of PMO needs to follow the development path from establishment,integration,growth to maturity.At different stages of development of PMO,services and functions corresponding to the level of maturity should be provided.Finally,through the PMO maturity assessment model designed in this paper,an organization can assess its own PMO maturity level,and record the improvement intention to formulate the PMO maturity improvement plan.The PMO maturity assessment model has certain versatility and can be used by the organization itself.Additional research can be carried out on the basis of this model to improve the model and continuously improve the organizations that realize the importance of project management to improve their PMO Maturity level.
