Current economic development and social progress,not only improve the people's material living conditions,improve the living standards of residents,but also greatly enhance people's spiritual and cultural needs,so that they will devote more energy to social activities such as education,travel and so on.Museum education,as an important part of it,has attracted more and more attention.Under the background of aging,how to effectively promote the public education function of museums and integrate it with the life of the elderly is the focus of this paper.All-round development of museum education can not be separated from the participation of the elderly groups.At the same time,the rich patriotic feelings and national honor also make the elderly full of longing for Museum education.However,compared with foreign Museum education,China's museum education for the elderly audience is still at a low level,mainly manifested in the lack of humanistic care,low participation of the crowd,less channels for education promotion and other issues,resulting in the inadequate use of Museum resources.Based on the field investigation and long-term social investigation in the Qinshihuang Mausoleum Museum,the author summarizes the general problems faced by the elderly in the course of museum education from four aspects: physiology,psychology,operation of modern facilities,attractiveness of Museum education,and puts forward corresponding solutions.At the same time,this paper also puts forward suggestions for the social practice of Museum education,through building a team of elderly volunteers and enriching the museum to participate in social activities,to achieve the sharing of museum educational resources.
