With the popularity of multi-variety and less-batch production mode in the manufacturing industry,the material kitting as an important production management concept and method are increasingly applied to the production management.Considering the substitution and borrowing of materials between similar products,enterprises are now making the management of materials more strict and complex.The appropriate method of material kitting not only can provide accurate guidance for production arrangement,but also can reduce inventory and increase economic benefit.Therefore,this paper studies the application of material kitting in the production management,mainly including the following aspects:Firstly,a method of material kitting based on product priority is proposed.The research is divided into two parts.The first part is to sort ou the sequence of product priority by analytic hierarchy process.The second part is to calculate the types and quantities of products which can be produced according to the order of product priority.The method of material kitting based on product priority solves the problem,as it not only concludes the lack of material type and quantity to give a guidance when make purchasing plan,but also calculates the type and quantity of products,which solves the problem existing in material kitting-It does not take priority into consideration or the priority evaluation is complex and not comprehensive.Using this way is more convenient and comprehensive than building priority evaluation and is more directly than not considering priority.Secondly,in order to meet customers' demand timely and establish good creditbetween enterprises,a material kitting model is set up to analyze the maximum number in complete orders.This analysis is aiming to study how to maximize the total number of orders when allocating materials under the limited material resources,so that all products under the order can be distributed with complete materials.And a hybrid algorithm combining genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm is used to solve the material kitting analysis model based on the maximum number of complete orders.The results of the hybrid algorithm,compared with the basic genetic algorithm,is proved to more effective in solving the model.Finally,a production management software system is designed and implemented,and the two different material kitting analysis methods studied in this paper are applied to the actual production management system which is convenient for production planner to know the information of material kitting and make more reasonable workshop plan,so as to save the time of arranging production plan.Thus,low accuracy,untimely update and complex communication which exist in materials kitting method will be easily solved.
