With releasing of the "made in China 2025" plan,western countries are worried that China will threaten their leading position and constantly set trade barriers against China.Chinese semiconductor companies are in urgent need of positioning strategic suppliers to resist the extinction of trade disputes.This Thesis starts with the characteristics of R company's raw material procurement and analyzes its existing supplier selection and evaluation model QCDSE,R set of models applicable for general supplier selection.using risk matrix model,the internal and external risks,operational risks and interruption risks faced by R company's supply chain are analyzed from a qualitative perspective,and the risk degree of the risk factors analyzed is assessed from a quantitative perspective.Through understanding the problems and difficulties encountered in supplier selection process of company R,it is found that strategic suppliers in the semiconductor industry have many different characteristics from other industries.Therefore,it is urgent to build a supplier selection evaluation system suitable for semiconductor industry and able to solve problems.According to the unique characteristics of strategic suppliers in semiconductor industry,this paper constructs a two-stage strategic supplier selection and evaluation model.13 indicators representing competitiveness were designed for preliminary screening,and another 22 evaluation indicators representing supply chain risk were designed for secondary screening,gradually excluding poor suppliers,and finally selecting strategic suppliers with strong competitiveness and low risk.On the basis of this evaluation model,company R continued improving its strategic supplier selection process,identified 8 key control points in the process and strengthened control.At the same time,a series of organizational safeguard measures are implemented,including policy safeguard,mechanism safeguard,human resources safeguard,implementation incentive measure etc.R company and strategic suppliers established series of comprehensive cooperation including enterprise investment,research and development and other aspects.In the case of company R's silicon wafer procurement,the two-stage supplier selection model was applied to successfully determine the strategic supplier of silicon wafers,which alleviated current supply shortage and reduced procurement cost of the company.
