A Study On Management Experience Of The Press And Publication Industry In Sweden

The press and publication industry is an industry that combines cultural attributes,commercial attributes and technical attribute together.Sweden is one of the most advanced countries in the press and publication industry in the world The research object of this dissertation is "Swedish management experience of the press and publication industry".This dissertation aims to solve these following problems:a)what are the Swedish management experience in the press and publication industry and b)what we can learn from these Swedish experiences?This dissertation adopts text research as its main research method.The author summarized and analyzed literatures at home and abroad on the press and publication industry in Sweden.As far as the author's current literature information is concerned,the data on Swedish press and publication industry in those existing researches has gone out of date.Taking this situation as a starting point,the author gave a new overview on the press and publication industry in Sweden and used the latest data from domestic and foreign literature to show the general face of the various segments of the Swedish press and publication industry.In the main part of this dissertation,the author set its work on the basement of many useful results of research on the press and publication industry in Sweden,jumped out of the circle of research and discussion about the relationship between laws and freedom of the speech,the freedom of press and self-diseipline in the industry,the press and social public service,studied the construction experience of Swedish press and publication industry from the perspective of development.This dissertation first systematically introduces and analyzes the development environment of the Swedish press and publication industry,and summarizes the new problems faced by the industry and the overall characteristics of the industry.The main part of the dissertation is carried out from four aspects:Theoretical construction experience,legal governance experience,government management experience,social self-govemance experience.In terms of theoretical construction experience,the author put its focus on theory the media system in a social perspective and theory the Democratic Corporatist media-system,studied the intellectual support behind the development of the press and publication industry.In terms of legal governance experience,this dissertation studied on two aspects respectively basic legal guarantee and control about content and analyzed "the world's first country to carry out legislation on the press" with specific cases.In terms of government management,this dissertation outlined the structure of the functional management departments on the press and publication industry in Sweden,analyzed Swedish governments management work till the press and publication industry based on the Swedish governments direct and indirect subsidies for the industry.In terms of social self-governance experience,the author analyzed good tradition of self-discipline in the industry from the "the world's first news self-regulatory organization ",outlined the self-discipline system of the Swedish press and publication industry.The foothold of this dissertation lies in these Swedish development implications for China,which concludes insisting on integrated development leading thinking,improving the construction of laws and regulations in the press and publication industry,strengthening the construction of industry self-discipline system,valuing the cultivation of media literacy,adhering to own characteristics and innovative development.
