Research On The "Belt And Road" Report Of Xinjiang Daily

The "Belt and Road" refers to the "Silk Road Economic Belt" and "21st Century Maritime Silk Road"."Silk Road Economic Belt" was a speech delivered by President Xi Jinping during a visit to Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan in September 2013.At the time,he also proposed the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" when he visited Southeast Asia in October of the same year.Xinjiang is located in the interior of our country and borders eight countries.It is an important window connecting the northwestern region and one of the core areas of the economic planning of the Belt and Road Initiative.The "Belt and Road" initiative has broad prospects for development.Since its introduction,it has achieved remarkable development results,contributed to the sustainable development of China and the world economy,and brought opportunities for Xinjiang's economic and social development.In this new situation,Xinjiang media is undertaking the important task of showing the image of Xinjiang to the outside world and creating an environment of interconnected public opinion."Xinjiang Daily",as a party newspaper of the autonomous region,is more authoritative and oriented in conveying the spirit of the party's Central Committee and carrying out publicity and publicity in light of the actual development of Xinjiang.This article takes“Xinjiang Daily”news reports on the“Belt and Road”as the research object,and selects the relevant reports of“Xinjiang Daily”from May 2017 to May 2019 as the research sample,supported by the news frame theory.An overview of the report and the text of the report analyze the framework of the Xinjiang Daily's coverage of the “Belt and Road” initiative.In terms of report overview,it is analyzed from the six aspects of the number of reports,the source,the position of the report,the genre of the report,the length of the report,and the order of the report.As for the text of the report,it is analyzed from four aspects: reporting area,title,language style,and expression.This research uses content analysis,text analysis,and case analysis to explore the content of the report.Through analysis,it is concluded that in the "Belt and Road" initiative report of Xinjiang Daily,the report content is combined with the development of Xinjiang's local society;Focus on positive publicity;focus on cultural communication in the construction of the“Belt and Road”;the content of the report is humane and highlights humane care.On the basis of research,put forward relevant suggestions for future development:increase the number of reports and plan thematic propaganda;fully dig news resources to deepen governance;enhance awareness of public opinion supervision;establish an interactive platform and value reader feedback.
