Research On The News Framework Of China's "One Belt One Road" External Reporting Of People's Daily Overseas Edition

Since the outbreak of the financial crisis in 2008,the global economy has developed slowly,and the two-level differentiation has developed seriously.The political and economic games between the dominant country have been growing stronger.The countries of the world are in a tough period of economic transformation and upgrade.The international situation has undergone changes and adjustments,willingness of cooperation and development among countries in the world has increased.The development of regional economic integration has accelerated,and the consciousness of a community of human destiny in all countries of the world continues to deepen and strengthen.In the new era,in order to response to the problem of world development and the requirements of the era development,as the historical symbol of the economic,cultural,religious,ethnic exchanges and cooperation between China and the West——the Silk Road,which has been given new traits and connotations,as a solution to the policy scheme has been redefined and developed.In September and October 2013,the Chinese government proposed the strategic concept of jointly building the “New Silk Road Economic Belt” and “The 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road”,the both called as the “The Belt and Road”.“The Belt and Road” is a new model of regional economic cooperation between China and countries along the line,which was draw the outline on the historical sites of the ancient land and sea silk road by Chinese leaders in the new rea,and it is an inclusive strategic platform that combine long-term development at home and abroad.The promotion and implementation of “The Belt and Road” is not a easy path,for western kingdoms who have smashed their shackles with distorted ideology,and the negative effects of the differences in the perception of the “Belt and Road” between countries with different cultures,these have become obstacles to the implementation of the strategy.Xi Jinping has repeatedly pointed out in major diplomatic occasions that the Inter-state interaction lie in the relationship between the people.If china wants to consolidate the friendly relations with neighboring countries,to use the collective impression of shared historical memory and cultural symbols to establish social consensus and to consolidate the foundation of public opinion,it is the key means.The realization of national strategy,the foundation of social public opinion and international identity are the key.News as a window for people to understand the world plays a major role in exerting the influence of the framework effect on the audience,in particular,the news framework influences the production of news information by reporting what and not reporting what,and thus have an impact on audience perception.Therefore,how the media make good use of news framework to effectively communicate “The Belt and Road” all over the world,so that the audience along the line accept and agree with “The Belt and Road” and do a good job of protecting people's hearts.This is the ultimate goal of this research.Hereby,In order to improve the international communication efficiency of "The Belt and Road" of the party newspapers in China,grasping the communication rules of news reports better,to create a good public opinion environment for smoothly carried out in "The Belt and Road" strategy.This thesis takes the “People's Daily”(Overseas Edition)“The Belt and Road” external report as the research object,uses the relevant knowledge of journalism communication,political economy,sociology,etc.,and adopts the combination of literature analyses,content analyses and discourse analyses,selects news framework as the theoretical basis.This thesis selects 644 samples of the People's Daily(overseas version)2013-2018 “Belt and Road” report,and use the framework of Tankat's “framework list” as the research path to qualitative and quantitative analysis,and then sums up the advantages and influences of the “The Belt and Road'' external reporting framework of the People's Daily(Overseas Edition),and shortcomings and its reason,and then proposes the international communication strategy of the “The Belt and Road” report,analysis development trend of the report.This thesis is divided into an introduction,6 chapters and conclusions,a total of 8 parts:Chapter 1,introduction.Based on research background,research value,and literature review,to put forward my own research questions.Specify the purpose and significance of the research,clarify the research content and research methods of the thesis,and explore the key points and difficulties of the research.Chapter 2,the summary of “The Belt and Road” and news framework.By sorting out the concept of “The Belt and Road”,the process of policy evolution,and the significance of external communication,to define the basic ideas of “The Belt and Road”.The news framework begins with the traceability of the framework theory,then combs and analyzes the news framework,and finally explains the path of the news framework analyses,and clarifies the analyses path adopted by the research.Chapter 3,the news framework of the “The Belt and Road” report in “People's Daily”(Overseas Edition).First of all,make a detailed introduction to the general situation of the “Belt and Road” external report of the People's Daily(overseas version).And then,on this basis,I point out the importance of the news framework in the “One Belt,One Road” external report.Chapter 4,research design and sample analyses.This part is a detailed introduction to the research process,including the choice of samples,the reasons for sample selection,the interpretation of sample extraction methods,and the reasons for the construction and research of specific research categories.According to the research design,author analyzes the framework of “The Belt and Road” external report from seven aspects: report genre,layout location,topic,source,news headline,and vocabulary analysis.Chapter 5,the advantages of “The Belt and Road” external reporting on the “People's Daily”(Overseas Edition).According to the sample analyses results in Chapter 4,the advantages are mainly included: priority setting highlights the importance of the subject by the number of reports and the agenda of the layout location,the stories of “regional construction achievements and economic and trade cooperation” are mostly told by communication genres,the shortness of the news headline directly reveals the news theme,the rhetoric of the discourse is positive,and the theme is closely followed.And further explore the influence of these advantages.Chapter 6,the shortcomings and causes of “The Belt and Road” report on the People's Daily(Overseas Edition).Insufficient diversity of sources leads to weakening of popular discourse,insufficient diversity of sources leads to weakening of popular discourse,insufficient diversity of topics leads to insufficient thickness of public opinion,less cultural reports lead to weaker cultural communication.And the reasons for the shortcomings are analyzed from the international environmental level,the national level and the news organization level.Chapter 7,optimizing the path of the “One Belt,One Road” external report of People's Daily(overseas version)and it's development tendency.This part mainly explores the corresponding solution strategies for the problems existing in the report,including focus on the overall balanced report,strengthen the use of in-depth reports,focus on the perspective of the people and create the proximity of communication content,strengthen the culture and history of communication on the Silk Road.And grasp the development trend of “The Belt and Road” external reports: focus on the complementary advantages of new and old media,use new communication methods such as VR and visualization,and build an international discourse system of “The Belt and Road”.In conclusion,the author has completed and summarized the previous parts,and the conclusions of general regularity are obtained.
