A Study Of Character Reporting In Caixin Weekly From Dead Column From The Perspective Of News Framework Theory

From the imperial edicts of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period,the inscriptions of the Eastern Han Dynasty and the mourning,mourning and sacrificial inscriptions that evolved from the development,to the obituaries that appeared since the Ming and Qing Dynasties,our funeral system and funeral culture have a long history.In contrast,China's obituary reports are imported.Due to the relevant regulations and fixed forms of reporting objects,writing forms and page size,and the influence and restraint of the traditional concept of"rebirth and taboo death",Chinese readers can only see brief obituaries in newspapers,and the development of obituary reports is basically stagnant.On CNKI,149 results were searched with the theme of obituary.Relevant literature is concentrated in 2005-2012,and relatively few studies have been conducted in recent years.From the literature searched,it can be seen that for a long time,obituary reports in our country mainly focus on party media like People's Daily,and most of them are politicians and social celebrities.On February 28,2019,China Internet Information Center(CNNIC)released its 43rd Statistical Report on the Development of Internet in China.As of December 2018,the number of Internet users in China had reached 829 million,with 56.53 million new Internet users added throughout the year,and the Internet penetration rate was 59.6%.With the rapid development of mobile Internet technology,the scale of netizens continues to expand,and netizens gradually develop the habit of"sun"experience on social platforms.Obituary reports in China have also developed to a certain extent.This research takes the column on the deceased of Caixin Weekly as the research object,and takes the time when Caixin Weekly was founded as the starting point,chooses the obituary reports from the 10th issue of 2015 to the 51st issue of 2018(a total of 277 reports)as the research sample,and uses the news framework theory to analyze the quantity,nationality,occupation and source of obituary reports of Caixin Weekly from the 10th issue of 2015 to the 51st issue of 2018 through statistical analysis.Through content analysis,comparative analysis and case analysis,the framework features and development of obituary reports are analyzed.Through the analysis of specific data,we can know that the news framework of the deceased column of this magazine has the characteristics of publicity,sociality,professionalism,framework,vividness and objectivity at three levels.The whole column focuses on expressing sorrow and recall,taking into account the"bad"places of the deceased.However,under the background of the slow development of obituary reports in China,the news framework of the column on the deceased is constantly changing,including three characteristics:regrettability,guidance and diversity.Caixin Weekly is a professional financial magazine in the forefront of the times.While carrying out the payment wall,the magazine may rely on the group advantages of Caixin Media to give full play to the"long board"advantages of data news and integrate the digital illustration of the deeds of the deceased in order to improve the comprehensive quality of obituary reports.In order to improve the quality of obituary report and boost the media operation,we should set up the"loopholes"of the payment wall reasonably and put the high-quality obituary report in the"loopholes"to help finance the current payment wall policy of the new media.In addition,in the face of more and more media realizing the importance of obituary reporting,Caixin Weekly can learn from the experience and practice of the New York Times to form a new style of obituary reporting,build obituary brand and enhance competitiveness.
