As a research and development center of the leading enterprise in the insurance industry, after more than ten years of development,Company A has built a professional project management and R&D team to support the expanding business.Due to the diversification of insurance products and the rapid changes in consumer spending habits, there are often many problems such as frequent changes in demand, slow response to demand, poor communication in the software development process, and exhaustion of various documents. These problems often lead to product development progress seriously behind the plan, and the time advantage is lost in the competition of the same industry, which eventually leads to a large loss of consumers and damage. It is found that the traditional classical waterfall model is used in the progress management of A company. This model gradually reveals some problems of out-of-control in the development process of A company's software projects. Therefore,A company urgently needs to introduce a method of project progress management to solve these problems.By comparing different software schedule management models, combined with agile development related theories, using questionnaires and other methods, this paper summarizes and analyzes the status quo of project progress management of A company and the organizational structure of the company.Referring to the Scrum development framework in Agile,a set of progress management model suitable for A company software schedule management is proposed, namely "waterfall+agile" model. The implementation of the model is discussed through actual cases, and the model is proved to be usable. And effective, can provide guidance for A company's future software projects.
