Research On The Information Service Of International Students In Academic Libraries In Kunming

This paper has important research significance to improve the information service level of readers in college libraries through the study of information services for students studying in university libraries in Kunming.Through the investigation,this paper analyzes the distribution of the group and academic composition of foreign students,the obstacles encountered in the process of using the library,the cognition and utilization of library information services,the status quo of information literacy education,and puts forward some targeted Measures and methods,I hope that these measures and methods can contribute to the improvement of the information service level of international students in university libraries.The research content of this paper consists of the following five parts.The first part firstly explains the background and significance of the topic of this thesis to the reader.Secondly,it searches the domestic and foreign literatures and forms a review.Finally,it introduces the research content and methods,key points,difficulties and innovations of this research.The second part lays a theoretical foundation for the next analysis and research by combing the concept and connotation of international student information service,information user and user information demand theory,and cross-cultural adaptation theory.In the third part,according to the data collected by the questionnaire as the supplementary data,the paper analyzes the current situation of the information service of the international students in Kunming University.The data is analyzed from four aspects.The analysis of the current situation of international students in Kunming is conducted.Behavior analysis of information acquisition,analysis of the needs of international students' information acquisition,and analysis of the status quo of information services for international students in 12 undergraduate colleges in Kunming.The fourth part proposes a series of measures to optimize the information service for international students in Kunming University,including improving the information literacy of international students,improving the bilingual environment for foreign students,improving the information service methods for international students,strengthening the quality of information service personnel,and strengthening Five aspects of the construction of document information resources.The fifth part summarizes the writing of this paper and reiterates the significance of this topic.
