A Study On Report Of Child Abuse In China

Child abuse is a complex social problem,which involves not only family education,but also social values,laws,media and so on.The information dissemination of mass media will directly affect the public's attitude towards child abuse.Therefore,this study combines the current situation of the reports of child abuse in China's news media,analyzes the problems existing in the current reports,and further explores the solutions to the problems.From the perspective of framework theory,this paper takes all reports of child abuse on CNN from 2014 to 2018 as samples,and studies the news framework presented in the reports from three perspectives:text analysis,content analysis and case analysis.In the first chapter,it elaborates the research background,significance and innovation points,defines key concepts and introduces relevant theories,collates the research status of children's reports at home and abroad,and introduces research methods.In the second chapter,we analyze the news framework of child abuse reports,including content framework analysis,text framework analysis,news schema analysis and thematic framework analysis.In the third chapter,the causes of the current reports of child abuse are analyzed,pointing out the problems existing in the current reports of child abuse,such as the pattern of child abuse reports,news commentary,the number of in-depth reports is small,the lack of journalistic professionalism and so on.In the fourth chapter,the author summarizes and reflects on the above problems and puts forward the optimum path for reporting child abuse incidents.It is found that,in terms of content,the types of reports on child abuse events are mostly short messages,neutral positions and objective reports.Most of the sources are from the official mainstream media,but the types of reports are relatively single,lack of in-depth reports and few news maps.At the text level,the title of child abuse reports mostly adopts the main naming method,the expression is mainly narrative,the style of writing follows the simple style of "short and plain",the language is more serious and prudent,and the depth information is excavated.Influenced by policy factors and media factors,reports on child abuse still have some problems,such as single narrative type,modelling of reports and anomie of journalistic ethics.Therefore,we should ensure the diversity of sources,ensure the scientificity and authenticity of news discourse,make the narrative more diversified,and enhance the attractiveness and readability of reports.
